Saints travel to Carrow Road to face Norwich City desperate to put things right this weekend.
The Saints still lie three points above the drop-zone despite losing to Harry Redknapp’s QPR side last weekend.
So this match is a crucial one for the South Coast side as they host Liverpool and Chelsea in the rest of the month’s fixtures.
Vegard Forren, who has yet to feature in the first team since moving from Molde FK in January came through a full 90 minutes for the Saints U21s on Monday.
This was the central defender’s first game at any level since signing. He also capped the match with a goal for the Saints in a 1-1 draw.
Jay Rodriguez may also be in line to start after he replaced Adam Lallana in the defeat last weekend.
Norwich are not completely secure from being dragged into the relegation scrap so they will look for home advantage to tell.
When these two met earlier in the season it finished in a 1-1 draw at St Mary’s.
