A new fundraising and business event will be taking place at the Locks Heath Shopping Village this Saturday (May 11).

Shoppers will be able to discover businesses while children can have their faces painted at The Lovingly Local Fundraising Event and Spring Fair.

The one-day event will have more than 25 stall holders showcasing items such as homeware, crafts, jewellery and pampering products.

Photographers, financial advisors, a Human Resource specialist and the Locks Heath Pumas Rugby Club will also be on site.

The creators behind Pride Hair’s new image will also be attending including photographer Julia Mills, Engraving and Sign Solutions who designed the firm’s new sign and Ash Uddin, an image consultant who will be on hand to help shoppers revamp their wardrobes and improve their confidence.

Other stall holders include Harmony Therapies, Clair Maskell, a local childcare expert who has recently published her very first children’s book and a local specialty flavoured fudge maker.

Every stallholder at the event is donating a prize to the fundraising raffle to be held on the day for Help4Harvey, a toddler from Titchfield Common who needs a life-changing operation in America to help him to walk.

Raffle prizes include free photography sessions, pamper packs, luxury fudge, a variety of gift vouchers and craft products.

The event – which is being run in association with the shopping village, networking group Brainstorm Locks Heath and Locks Heath People -  is on from 11am to 3pm.
