Warsash Art Group’s annual art exhibition has been declared open to the public by deputy Mayor of Fareham David Norris. Marwell artist Kim Thompson also joined the celebration.

Outstanding pieces of art work are on display for visitors to see with some of the items being available to purchase.

During the free event at the Victory Hall in Warsash Road, members from the Warsash Art Group will be working on projects throughout the different days.

As well as it being an insight into what the artists can do, it will enable visitors to find out what the art group is like and an opportunity to join.

The exhibits have been created using different materials, such as graphite pencil, oil pastels, water colours acrylic paints and 3D art.

The show is on until 5.30pm today, Friday August 16. Tomorrow (August 17) it is on from 10am to 5pm and on Sunday people can attend between 10am and 4 pm, as well as from 5pm to 6.30pm.
