An elderly Park Gate couple have been left shaken after they were burgled while they were at home.
The burglar entered through the back of the property in Southampton Road between 6pm last Thursday (August 29) and 6am the next morning.
A handbag containing cash and keys, an iPod and a Kindle Fire HD were stolen from the property.
PC Barry Martin of Fareham and Gosport CID said: “I am appealing for information from anyone who was in the area between those times and saw anyone acting suspiciously.
“The home owners were in the house at the time of the burglary and it has left them quite shaken.
“Please remember to lock windows and doors, particularly on the ground floor, to prevent such incidents.”
