Southampton FC have a tough home fixture this weekend as they host in-form Liverpool at St Mary’s Stadium.

But after a decent performance against Norwich where they dominated but couldn’t get the three points they deserved – and in the end were saved by a late penalty stop by Artur Boruc – Saints will be confident.

With many teams in the Premier League’s relegation mix, they have to win home matches in order to remain a top flight side, even if it is against Liverpool.

But manager Mauricio Pochettino still remains confident in his side despite just one win since he took the reins at the Saints.

Meanwhile, Liverpool, after a tough start to life, manager Brendan Rodgers has got the Reds playing some nice football which has seen them continue to climb the table.

And that improvement was helped at the weekend when they beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-2.

One of the scorers, Luis Suarez, has been in prolific form for Liverpool with a return of 21 league goals for the campaign.

The match between the two sides is at 3pm with the match taking place at St Mary’s.
