Costumes and props were available for visitors to try along with a seaside painted ‘face in a hole’ scene for adults and children to be photographed with.
The St Margaret’s Lane-based amateur dramatics club promoted their up-coming plays and recruited new members at the event.
Dressed in a variety of eye-catching costumes from Henry VIII to Sherlock Holmes, the group maintained their characters to give visitors an insight to their next seven plays.
Georgie Gulliford, from Titchfield Festival Theatre said: “We received a fantastic response from the shoppers at Locks Heath. It was really fantastic to engage with the local people and hear that they are keen to support local events. We’re hoping to see many of their faces at our forthcoming plays.”
Ian Goodridge, Locks Heath Shopping Centre Manager, said: “It was great to see the amazing costumes and actors visiting us here at Locks Heath.
“We pride ourselves on being the heart of the community so being able to offer our shoppers what they can discover locally is key to us and we look forward to welcoming more groups in the near future.”
